Celebrating Women in STEM Careers & Education
"Celebrating Women in STEM Careers and Education" will take place on Monday, January 27th at the state capitol rotunda from 3:15-5:45 p.m. This event is intended for juniors and seniors in high school, their parents and undergraduate students in STEM studies. For the program "Celebrating Women in STEM Careers and Education", there will be 5 women being honored who will speak about their careers in STEM. The joint resolution sponsored by Senator Kathleen Riebe and passed during legislative session 2024 to promote women in STEM will also be read. The program will be from 4-5 p.m. in the rotunda. From 3:15-5:45 p.m., there will also be a STEM resource fair in the rotunda. "Funding Your Higher Education in STEM" will take place afterwards at Marmalade Library from 6:15-7:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at Marmalade Library.
