Danica Robinson-Liles, Co-Founder & COO of West End Studios Jamaica.
Danica has developed a highly valued network and knowledge of film financing, project development, and executive business consulting. Of Caribbean descent, she has taken a strong interest in the growth and development within the tourism, film, and entertainment sectors of Jamaica by launching in the fall of 2023 a film production house, West End Studios in Negril, Jamaica, with Craige Wallace, Managing Director and shareholder of The Boardwalk Village Group of Companies in Jamaica.
Danica has worked with premier talent across the world and brings global partnerships to Afro-Caribbean creative talent and businesses across the West Indies. Currently, she is working closely with the Tourism Enhancement Fund and Jamaica Vacations to provide creative job opportunities, tourism growth, and film development on the island of Jamaica.
Early in her career, Danica started her finance career as a mortgage loan consultant, based out of Silicon Valley, CA, managing over $200M annually in bank loan products. After the Fall of the Market in 2008, she pursued her passion for film and media arts as the Associate Director at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles for nearly 10 years, as she continues to advocate for creative talent in her most recent role as the COO
