About
Vanessa Kouri is a junior studying Finance and Artificial Intelligence for Business at Wharton. Growing up in New York City and in an international school, Vanessa is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. While at Wharton, Vanessa leads Wharton Latino’s Corporate Relations and the Speakers Team of the Wharton Undergraduate Real Estate Club, where she organizes networking opportunities, on-campus speaker events, and in-person office visits to expose members to a variety of industries. Last winter, Vanessa completed a Wharton Industry Exploration Program where she visited technology firms in New York City to examine the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in technology, entertainment, and media — sparking her interest to pursue the field in greater depth. This summer, Vanessa completed the Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program with a subsequent internship at MetLife Investment Management, and she will be joining Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division in Summer 2026. In her studies, Vanessa aims to build a well-rounded skill set that develops both her technical and interpersonal skills, to ultimately pursue a career investing in high-growth technology companies.
Outside of school, Vanessa trains with the School of the Philadelphia Ballet and enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors with friends, and trying new restaurants.
