I have a weirdly interesting background in fashion design/management, sales/marketing, logistics, entrepreneurship, and web-dev/UX design. Now, researching & building things to figure out what my next projects should be.
I have produced and hosted fashion shows and after-parties in the past; venue set-up, models and designer management, and generally making sure everyone is having a good time at the after-party.
Volunteered at tech conferences as a content writer, speaker liaison and registration/entrance liaison.
Not sure if this counts as a hosting strength...
As co-best man at my cousin's wedding, I sang, I Want It That Way by BSB... in a room full of 500 guests.
Getting involved with communities by hosting great events in Toronto, Canada would be a pleasure of mine.
I'll start working on venue choices and read 2-Hour Cocktail Party by Nick Gray book to brush off the hosting rust (if any).

This was one of the conversation card questions at an event I hosted as part of my startup Elevate Tonight. I'm passionate about connecting people through conversations.

While I am no longer pursuing that business, I really love the concept of what River enables, and I'm looking forward to hosting events for My First Million and any other communities that I have an innate attraction to. I have relationships with several bars across Chicago, and would love the opportunity to build an MFM community here in the city of Builders.
I was just thinking to myself the other day how I could meet other MFM listeners. Glad I came across River!

Through my brand The Female Founders Lab, I have the pleasure of coaching some of the most brilliant feminine visionaries of our time, who have collectively raised millions in the last couple of years.
Over my last 15 years in the impact venture space, I've led accelerators and worked with hundreds of pre-seed founders across the US and emerging markets like India, Africa, LatAm.
I believe that our industries are undergoing a radical systemic shift toward transparency, decentralization, and regenerative and holistic values, and it's purpose-driven founders - particularly women and POC - who are powering this change from the bottom up, in areas like healthcare, education, food systems, media, circular economy, and future of work/communities.
