I’m a senior embedded software engineer with over 20 years of hands‑on experience building and testing mission‑critical firmware for aerospace, defense, and medical systems. I’ve led test‑automation projects at places like Testeract, L3 Communications, and General Atomics, where I helped deliver safety‑critical software for NASA’s Dream Chaser program under DO‑178C standards. My day‑to‑day work revolves around low‑level C/C++ development on real‑time operating systems such as FreeRTOS, QNX, and VxWorks, plus a lot of hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing using LabVIEW, TestStand, and custom Python scripts. I’ve also built IoT firmware for pet‑tracking devices, created DTLS networking stacks, and worked on high‑performance Linux and NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
