Technology leader with 20 years of experience, nearly 10 years leading teams of engineers.
Invigorated by and dedicated to collaboration, believing that solutions built through combination of different perspectives best serve the broad customer base of any organization.
Champion of unconventional thinking to drive innovation. At times "it can't be done" is true, but in many cases it is resounding refuted with "where there's a will, there's a way."
Delivered innovation in "impossible" connection of disparate platforms and modernization to private cloud of long-standing performance, resource and infrastructure limitation. Partnering with industry leaders - Dell, Intel, HPE, VMWare - to drive and deliver innovation.
Customer-focused, because what is a business without a customer? Just a solution looking to invent a problem, that's what.
Firm believer that all solutions derive from human ingenuity. As a leader, this means fostering both the existing capabilities within one's team members and partnering with them to build further expertise so they can then deliver their magic into the world in an untethered environment. The world goes around by people needing a solution (customers) and people driving the solutions (businesses), so it only stands to reason that the strongest focus should be on the individuals represented.
Advocate of work-life balance, empowering individuals to deliver on their peak schedule (some early morning, others into mid-day, and yet others who can rock the work at night). Why force people to work an 18th century-defined time block that doesn't align with their productivity rhythm?
I am passionate about industrial/organizational psychology, with 5+ years of combined internship, scholarly, and work experience.
Some examples include:
• Retained hundreds of clients through effective support and troubleshooting for dental, marketing, and auxiliary software with a 90% client satisfaction rate. Engaging with internal and external clients involving high-level correspondence with billing, enrollment, implementations, and developer departments.
• Researched, wrote, and presented at national conferences, such as the Rocky Mtn Psychology, on the retaining of clients through cultural humility (the next step from cultural competency).
• Several affiliations highlighting competencies and the ability to elevate productivity in working with diversity. These include interning for a performance-enhancing psychologist, ALPFA, CELP, Psi Chi, and graduating with a Global/Intercultural distinction. All of which heavily involve project organizing, networking, workshopping, training, administration, and mentoring other intercultural people while celebrating culture.
I get excited about opportunities where I can leverage my skills in cross-departmental collaboration and drive impactful change within organizations. I love connecting with new people, shoot me a message!
